This gun is what collectors often call a "lunch box special" as it was put together presumably by employees using a mixture of parts that were scrounged or otherwise rejected. A new stock was built to replicate the original and the forend checkering was recut. We received this gun for stock repair but ended up restocking it as the original was not a good candidate for repair. Due to this close proximity, we quite often encounter unique and interesting guns and other items that originated from L.C. Our shop is located about 25 minutes from where the Hunter Arms factory stood in Fulton, NY.
